In use
You may not need a new case at all. If your records already live in binders, these pockets add a fire-resistant layer around the pages that matter most. The wall is silicone-coated fiberglass with aluminum foil. One pocket also works alone as a flat document pouch.
Check before you buy
- You use standard letter-size 3-ring binders.
- Three pockets cover the papers you worry about.
- You do not need a lock.
Pick another one if
Three pockets protect three stacks, not the whole binder. Only a few buyers have rated them so far. Legal paper will not fit.

Sturdy and secure fireproof folder
We live in California, in an area which can be prone to fires. I like the idea of having this folder for storing important documents.I was impressed with how thick and sturdy the fire retardant material feels. There is also a silver aluminum foil lining inside for additional protection. While I will hopefully never need to test it in a real fire, this gives me some peace of mind. The top flap seals with velcro and is extremely secure. To the point that it's actually hard to peel open. Because of this, I suggest using it for items you need to protect but wouldn't really have to access daily or frequently - like your passport. There are also 3 ring holes in case you want to add the folder to a binder. One con is that it's a bit smaller than I expected. I have doubts about fitting 100 sheets inside as the product description claims as it's a pretty tight amount of space.
Keeps all my important documents safe
This is made out of a Fireproof material and it looks like a binder. I needed something to put my important documents like my social security card and are birth certificates in also maybe some extra money that we just don't want lying around the house. Any kind of important document is going to go in here since we don't have enough money to buy a safe. You can fit a lot of documents in but there's just so much room so you have to make sure you fit the most important things in. It closes up very tightly and securely. It doesn't weigh a lot which is nice. I like the fact that you actually could put it in a binder if you want to. Mine is going to go inside a filing cabinet. It is very sturdy and durable and it's very slick looking and made out of a nice material.
Safe and Secure
I have a lot of important documents that need extra protection, such as wills, titles, deeds, and other paperwork. I currently keep them in a lockbox, but that doesn't provide much protection if there were a fire, so I decided to give this fireproof pouch a try.The pouch feels sturdy and has a secure Velcro closure. It is made from fire-resistant materials and seems well constructed. I was able to fit about 20 sheets of paper in one pouch, so I plan to get a couple more to protect my other important documents.I also like the versatility of the design. It has holes that allow it to be placed in a 3-ring binder, but it can easily be used on its own as well. Overall, I'm impressed with the quality and plan to purchase more.
High Quality Durable Fireproof Binder Folder
This DocSafe Binder Pocket is great to keep your important documents in safekeeping from unforseen fires. It's super thick and lined with fireproof material on this inside, and has a strong, durable velcro strip that allows you to secure everything inside with peace of mind. I also like the fact it comes with a tiny pocket in the front of it with a small pocket-label in the front of it, which is very convenient for those that want to label and easily identify the items/documents stored inside. Overall, highly recommended based on quality and durability.
