In use

Letter and legal papers go in without a fold. Use one compartment for originals and the other for copies. The pouch takes passports, a spare key and some cash, and it travels well on its own. A flap with hook-and-loop covers the zipper, so water from a hose has two barriers to cross.

Check before you buy

  • Your papers are letter or legal size and the stack is thin.
  • You do not need a lock.
  • You have a drawer, a shelf or a hook where it will live.

Pick another one if

This bag has no lock, and a zipper will not stop a curious hand. It is soft, so it will not shield a hard drive from a falling shelf. If you need a lock or a rigid shell, look at our document boxes. If your stack is thicker than about half an inch, the large bag holds more.

    Perfect for my important documents

I really like this document holder. It's exactly what I was looking for. I will say that there's not a lot of room it in, which is what I wanted. If you need it to hold a lot of documents I would consider another option. It's perfect for my needs. It's well made. I'm happy with this purchase.

Nicely made and good size for legal documents.

I was pleased with the quality of this bag. It holds our legal documents nicely. Good size. Obviously I won't know for sure that it's fire proof unless my home catches fire, but hopefully that doesn't happen.

Good investment for a replacement to a safe deposit box.

Fully insulated and appears to be a good buy. Bought in place of a safe deposit box investment. Roomy but compact enough to put in an inconspicuous place. Appears durable --not tested and hopefully will not need to do so.

    good to have as backup

added this as backup document protection. Its much easier to take in an emergency than a bulky fire box.it adds protection from tearing, water and fire.it also provides a bit of obfuscation.
